Canterbury Press is excited and proud to announce that we are the 2008 recipient of the prestigious “Top Gold Award” for best creative use of paper. The announcement was made during the recent Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia’s 2008 Celebration of Print Gala, which was attended by more than 500 industry professionals. This year, the competition attracted over 1100 entries from printing companies throughout the state of Georgia.
This Gold Award, sponsored by Mac Papers, Inc., recognizes the one entry in the competition that exhibited the most creativity in paper utilization. According to the judges, the clever design and execution of ink, die-cutting and finishing, made this attention-grabbing piece worthy of this esteemed award. Canterbury Press also won six “Best of Category” and two “Awards of Excellence”.
A panel of three judges with extensive experience in printing and print production examined and rated all entries on their own merit within a category of similar pieces.
